My new favorite song!! Listen for energized fierceness guaranteed.
While in the airport on my way home from a recent trip, I was in desperate need of lip balm. Not just any lip balm... the kind that is likely overpriced and organic... so naturally, I went to L'occitane. Keep in mind I have never been inside a L'occitane store and had no idea what to expect to find and how much it was likely to be :) I was riding on an educated guess that what I was looking for could be found there.
I decided to grab the Shea Lip Balm because it seemed basic enough to not have much shine and luster, but still give a moisturized feel (based upon my last experiences with shea products). Thankfully, I was exactly right. The balm has a very nice squeeze application that is very similar to carmex. Though unlike carmex, this balm has a much nicer feel on the lips. It is just the perfect combination of emollient and slippery. One thing I love about this balm (that I am constantly searching for in balms) is that is soaks into the lips leaving a moisturized feeling without leaving waxy residue that will never soak in. I used this balm for a week three times daily (with no exfoliation) and my lips are very plump and free of flakes:
This is a product I will be repurchasing for sure! The cost of 12$ is not to high, considering the amazing results, and I would literally suggest this to ANYONE.
