ABOUT ME:
My name is Em and I'm a makeup artist, DIY princess, and self-proclaimed queen of the drugstore makeup aisle. I adore vintage, pinup, and kitsch, and my biggest makeup inspiration is the always-classic Lana Del Rey. I've been doing makeup for fun since I was nine years old, and makeup professionally for the past year.
ABOUT MY SKIN + STYLE:
I struggled with cystic acne on my cheeks, neck, shoulders, and chest for two years before I saw a dermatologist and was put on an antibiotic regimen. I still break out occasionally and I do have scars/discoloration from the acne, but my skin is mostly clear now. I have combination skin that's fairly sensitive.
I have pale olive skin with yellow undertones, which has made my quest to find an affordable foundation match a quest nearly impossible, though I've gathered up a few good contenders.
I would describe my style as kitschy classic. I draw most of my inspiration from film, musicians, and photographs, as well as other makeup artists. I'm also totally in love with the 1960s makeup look!CONTACT + OTHER SITES
