The Quadrangle

  In many of my early posts, and in many of my posts coming up, I will be mentioning my main friend group, The Quadrangle. It is basically me and my three closest friends, V, Z, and E. We have been friends for about three or four years now, and though it may not seem that long, we have grown amazingly close! Whenever I talk to them, I feel utter happiness. I am so glad to have them in my life.

  The first two years of our friendship were very strong! We often made plans to bake cupcakes, shop, go rock-climbing, etc. But when those first two years were over, V moved to the other side of the country. Although this kind of thing could have easily split us apart, and still threatens to, we have used video-chat, telephone calls, facebook, and pretty much any communication app there is to stay connected. We love V and to abandon her would mean the death of The Quadrangle, which is not an option!

  Even though we don't get to hang out all together anymore, the three of us still here try to plan outings and baking parties as often as possible to make sure we keep our end of the group strong.

  Last year, we decided that the summer after senior year, we will all meet in Walt Disney World for a week, to reunite The Quadrangle and keep it together, even when college threatens to tear us apart and spit us all over the globe. We have all been doing our best to save, and have created ways to earn money for the trip. So far, we are about a third of the way there, and we plan to make it all the way just in time for the trip!

  Some things you need to know about The Quadrangle:

-We are called The Quadrangle in honor of the square, a polygon in which every side is equal and plays their part to keep the cohesive piece a whole

-We are united by the common goals of laughter, peace, smiles, and magic

  In case you were confused, this post is also to encourage you to keep your friends close. After all, having good friends reduces stress, gives the weekend purpose, and most of all, makes life worth-while. I highly suggest taking some time to express how much you care about your friends, and to keep close with them! It is one of the most important things in this world. Having some good reliable friends can make you love life a little bit more every day :)
