Applying Your Makeup: Princess Products Style

In a previous post, I talked about something I call the Princess Products Method. This is (essentially) a philosophy for makeup wearers that epitomizes wearing makeup for one's self. This means not wearing makeup to cover imperfections, but to make one feel beautiful and joyful (or Princess-like if you will).

This video is not about the products I applied, nor the way my finished face looks; it is all about the application of makeup. I always see women applying makeup as quickly as possible so that no one will see them without it or so they can feel confident, but makeup, as mentioned in the previous post about the princess products method, should not be about hiding or concealing, it should be about fun and expression and feeling beautiful.
This video (nor the look it displays) is glamorous, but I had fun completing it and felt, truly, like a princess afterwards.

Next time you apply makeup, try doing it in the most glamorous, most fun way possible, and try to make an effort to use your look as a way to express yourself and enhance your mood rather than to impress others or hide your imperfections.
